The car is faithfully built to the 1966 Shelby specifications with tasteful deviations that enhance performance, amenities and quality. As Carroll indicated at signing…… this is how I would have built them in ’66 if I had the technology and resources available then. This stunning four year rotisserie restoration was done with no expense spared, starting with an early production ’65 Mustang A Code body, carefully restored and/or acquired quality components and the expert craftsmanship necessary to achieve the level of excellence this car represents. The body is laser straight and body gaps meticulously fashioned. No details were ignored, including new, Ford script, properly date coded glass and factory original stainless trim that was meticulously restored and polished, along with many other details that put this car in a class by itself. This beauty is a multiple show winner with awards like, Best of Show, 1st Place, Best Paint, President’s Choice, etc, etc… and has never competed without a win. It simply must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Performance and Amenity enhancements: · Handmade, “full grain” leather interior · 420 horsepower, 331 cubic inch small block Ford · 48 IDA Weber Carburetors and Intake System ( a dealer offered option for that period) · JBA Stainless Long Tube Headers · JBA 2 ½” Stainless Dual Exhaust System · Air Conditioning · World Class T-5, 5 Speed Transmission · Baer “Shelby” Disc Brakes (produced by Baer for Eleanor Manufacturer, Unique Performance and acquired specifically for this build) · Hydraulic Clutch · Tubular Control Arm Front Suspension with Adjustable Coil-Over Shocks. · Period correct 17” Torque Thrust Wheels and Goodrich Tires · Shelby 9” with Detroit Locker, 3.70:1 gears Every other aspect of this car has been faithfully done to the highest level of quality of the 1966 Shelby GT350H original production specifications. Over $120, 000 has been invested in this masterfully done car and since the restoration, it has been “show only”, stored in a heat and air conditioned environment and driven less than a collective 30 miles. Cars of this quality are difficult to find and the prices are increasing. If your focus is on quality and “The Best of the Best”, then you owe it to yourself to favor this car with your consideration.
